>Tories cast doubt on Home Secretary's claim that she wasn't told of MP's arrest
The political storm over the arrest of Conservative MP Damian Green intensified today when Jack Straw said he was 'very surprised' by the nature of the police raids.
He said: 'Everybody who has been made aware of these unfolding events of course is surprised by the nature of the raid, and I certainly understand the concern of my parliamentary colleagues.'
The comments by such a senior member of the Government are likely to increase the pressure on Home Secretary Jacqui Smith.
The Justice Secretary's comments come amid reports that angry MPs may disrupt the state opening of Parliament on Wednesday........ till they get some answers?
JAQUI SMITH HOME SECRETARY...is responsible for our Police force and should know all the time what's going on, so read on and she decides not to apologise to 'yet' another person arrested and treated like a criminal before tried, or are we now guilty before being tried under the new threat of the Police state backed up by the EU commission with their own ideas if Euro POLICE FORCE that's already been set up-remove habius corpus (The civil right to obtain a writ of habeas corpus as protection against illegal imprisonment)and you are well and truly done!

The flooding will continue as the Worcs County Council ignore the plight of us all being flooded out at just a light rain fall.
A complaint has gone into the LGO and we shall be getting a reply soon on why the council's are dragging their feet on important issues like flooding.
Continued complaints ill be sent in on issues like road and footpath repair and the lost Green bin service.
